China's Xi calls for S Korea binds to get back on track



BEIJING: Chinese President Xi Jinping told a South Korean emissary on Friday he was eager to return relations on an "ordinary track" in the midst of pressures over a US against rocket framework sent on the Korean landmass.

"We're willing to work with South Korea to protect the hard-won outcomes, appropriately handle debate, put China-South Korea relations back onto a typical track," Xi said as he welcomed Lee in Beijing.

"Your visit to China to venture up the correspondence on vital issues identified with two-sided relations... demonstrates President Moon and his organization have appended high significance to our ties," Xi said.

As far as it matters for him, Lee said Moon requesting that he express his "appreciation" to Xi for his message of congrats after the race.
