Delhi Jal Board CEO Keshav Chandra communicated trust that generation at the treatment plants - Wazirabad and Chandrawal - will "balance out" by Thursday and supply will progressively make strides.
Water supply in the national capital was hit after Haryana on Monday evening decreased water supply to the city.
Two water treatment plants - Wazirabad and Chandrawal which treat around 220 MGD (million gallons for each day) out of the 900 MGD treated in Delhi - were down to 60 percent of their ability as the city was getting around 80 MGD (million gallons for each day) not as much as its offer.
